The new Spark will feature a nippy 1.2L DOHC 16V engine creating 60Kw and 110Nm of torque. The fuel is delivered by a Multi Point Fuel Injection system (MPFI) that effeciently provides the right amount of fuel at the right time therefore reducing fuel consumption, engine wear and increasing performance.

The exterior of the new Spark has a swept windscreen that gives it a sleek "moving" appearance and has wheels that fit snuggly into the widened wheel arches giving it a sturdy appearance. The front headlights are elongated and stretch from the bumper right up to the windscreen pillar which also adds to the sleek look.

The interior of the new Spark has the new Chevrolet design steering wheel that is comfortable and looks classy. The dial cluster is modern with a bright blue light that illuminates all the information that you would want.

The safety features of the spark are not to be left unmentioned. The LS model comes out with ABS and EBD. Both models come out with driver and passenger airbags, side impact protection bars, front disc brakes, collapsible steering column, heated rear window, and rear wiper.

The Spark comes out with Alarm, immobiliser, central locking on both models and auto-locking doors on the LS model only.

Both models come out with Radio/Cd Mp3 player with RDS functionality and is Ipod and USB ready.
